It looks like I'll be adding a new movie to my "Beautiful Dark Twisted Movie List"
SHAME, starring Michael Fassbender as a sex addict directed by Mr. Steve McQueen...ummm, YES! This movie looks deliciously twisted and I MUST see it. It's even already stirring up some controversy. Check out this article from The Hollywood Reporter on whether or not the film should receive a NC-17 rating.

This is a collaborative album were indie-rock artist cover their favorite "guilty pleasures." Vol. 2 was released back in 2008 and features two covers you must hear. Robbers On High Street covered New Edition's classic "Cool It Now" and Francis & The Lights covered Mr. West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing."

Man, I love this guy
And now I love him even more for appearing on Tavis Smiley. I think Chris is so underrated and I love how he can do mainstream big budget movies like Captain America yet turn around and do a little indie movie. Such a great/interesting interview about his new film Puncture which is out now.

My Week With Marilyn
Wow, this looks really good. I'm so excited for Michelle, she looks amazing as Marilyn and the supporting cast in killer. Eddie Redmayne, Dominic Cooper, Emma Watson and the brilliant Dame Judi Dench...definitely adding this to my must see list!

Sorry Adele...please forgive me for what I'm about to say
Look, everyone knows I worship ADELE...I live for her...she's my girl in a bag of pearls. And her album 21 is life...LIFE! She's without question walking away with "Song of the Year", "Record of the Year", and "Album of the Year" at the 2012 Grammys...done...DONE!
But...
and this is a really tiny but....but I hate to say this, I just might have a new #1 on my "Top Ten Albums of 2011" list. I know that sounds crazy and trust me I feel crazy saying it, but Mayer Hawthorne's new album "How Do You Do" is pure perfection! I can not praise this album enough. I always believed I was born in the wrong time era, but I know for a FACT that Mayer was. Every song has a classic soul vibe, very reminiscent of Motown yet he's manage to put a fresh spin on it. I wasn't sure if he was gonna be able to out do his last album "A Strange Arrangement" oh but he has!! Get on this A-SAP!!
