A fun survey I took from my recent issue of SPIN Magazine...

What was the last concert you attended?
Well it wasn't really a concert, but the last show I attended was this past weekend; Aloe Blacc and The Grand Scheme at The Music Box in Hollywood. The show was fire!! Aloe killed it! He even got us to do the Soul Train line...literally. He split the crowd in half and people started dancing down the line. It was amazing!

Name a band that a co-worker turned you on to.
I love when people recommend bands/artists to me! Although my friend Nick has never been my co-worker, he is one of my favorite people in the world and turned me onto my new obession, Fitz & The Tantrums. I wrote about them back in March...Get Familiar: Fitz & The Tantrums

If you were to curate a festival, who would be on the bill?
OMG, this would be a dream if I was given this opportunity.  I'd have Fitz & The Tantrums, Aloe Blacc, Mayer Hawthorne, Paolo Nutini, Jamie Lidell, Eli "Paperboy" Reed, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Joss Stone, Rapheal Saadiq, Adele and I'd have a surprise closing performance from Amy Winehouse. How sick would this festivals be? I'd call it "The Soul Revival"

What was the last song that made you cry?
"One and Only" by Adele

Name a playlist on your iPod.
I actually have a playlist called "Mad Men" that's inspired by the TV show. It has tracks from Mary Wells, Patsy Cline, Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald, Connie Francis and Brenda Lee...I love that playlist!


What was the first record you bought with your own money?
I can't really remember, but it was either TLC's "Fan Mail" or NSYNC's "No Strings Attached" (yep I was one of those girls)
